gsimplecal software package provides 2.0-1+b1 [s390x], 2.0-1 [amd64, arm64, armel, armhf, i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, ppc64el], you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gsimplecal
gsimplecal is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gsimplecal package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gsimplecal *
You will get with gsimplecal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
